Biography

Sandra is the author of six books for junior readers and one young adult novel. She is available for readings and workshops at libraries and schools. Sandra also teaches creative writing to young authors and to adults who "have a book they've always wanted to write but didn't know how!"

Guest speaker/presentation information

Sandra's one-hour presentation encompasses the writing/publishing process, where to find ideas, how to make stories come alive through imagery and description, lots of questions to the kids! A small prize is raffled off at the end of each session.

Workshops are available to upper grades (5-8) and can be tailored to meet the needs of individual classes.

Presentation geographic range: Vancouver, Coast, Lower Mainland

Presentation audience age groups: grades 4-6, grades 7-8
