Biography

Michelle Davis grew up "chasing tumble weeds and running through the wheat fields" of all three prairie provinces, before moving to British Columbia to pursue a B.A. in English and French, a BEd and finally an MEd.

A high school teacher-librarian by day, a writer by night (and sometimes...the wee hours of the morning) and a mom 24/7, Michelle enjoys the variety of all three worlds!

She lives in Port Coquitlam with her husband and two sons.

Awards & recognition

Michelle's plays for amateur theatre have had over 900 productions in schools, community theatres and churches across the United States, Canada and overseas (Germany, England, Taiwan and New Zealand).

Mystery at Shady Acres was a contest finalist for the Shubert Fendrich Memorial Playwriting Contest.

Who Me? Yes You! was selected as a course text for a Drama in Education course at the University of BC (summer 2008)
