Biography

Della is an both an author and illustrator with 7 books. Her books are pictures books, educational and poetry. She has shared her books in 300 schools across Canada. She was an "Inner City Angel" artist leading art and creative writing workshops in Toronto schools for twenty years. She has lead many projects in helping students and guiding teachers in a process to write and illustrate their own stories. Her "Dodoland story" and "Magical Earth Secrets" story were performed for 100,000 children in New York including the Museum of Natural History, BAM ,Citycorp, Lincoln Center Library, and even the Smithsonian - she was Co-Director,costume designer and playwright of these productions. She has storytold - stories were performed all over the world including Gautemala, Italy, Mexico, Holland, Sweden, England and Korea. Her environmental story was featured at the World Island Festival on Jeju Island and students learned english and dramatized her story at the Dream Center in Kyeongju. She helped edit and design a book for a Celtic project which took her to Wales, Ireland, and Cornwall. Recently published was "Miracle Galaxy" which has eight healing angels for health and happiness and "Dodoland Adventures".
