Biography Rebecca is passionate about travel and language. She celebrated her fiftieth birthday by leaving her job, selling her house, and moving to Japan where she would later meet her husband-to-be, Takeshi. Six years later with an opportunity for another adventure, they relocated to Mexico. For her sixtieth birthday, Rebecca came full circle, returning with Takeshi to Canada where she pursues her zeal for writing. Rebecca launched her first children's book (bi-lingual in English/Japanese) in October 2009 and is currently working on a second. Written in English with Japanese words and expressions throughout the text, readers can consult the glossary for pronunciation and meaning.
