Biography

Carole Lazar lived a nomadic life as a child but calls coastal British Columbia home. She married much too young and against all advice but remains unrepentant. She started her professional life as a teacher but left that job to be a stay-at-home mum to her own children. When her kids were both in school and she found herself watching Sesame Street alone she knew it was time to think about getting back to work.
She attended law school at UBC and then practised as a lawyer from 1979 till 1989 when she was appointed as a judge of the Provincial Court of British Columbia. She held that position until 2008. She has now abandoned her search for truth and is looking for a good fantasy. She resides in Surrey, BC with her husband Dan and the world’s most demanding Boston terrier. When not catering to said Boston terrier, Carole writes; Dan cooks
