Biography

Rachelle Delaney is a Vancouver author who published her first novel, The Ship of Lost Souls, in 2009 to critical acclaim. It was a finalist for the 2010 BC Book Prizes, and its sequel, The Lost Souls of Island X, is due out in August 2010.

Born in Edmonton, Rachelle moved to the west coast in 2000 to earn a BA and an MFA in creative writing. Her work is often inspired by her passion for nature and travel. When she isn't writing children's novels, Rachelle works as a freelance writer, editor, and creative writing teacher.
