Biography
Silvana Bevilacqua is a Vancouver illustrator with an Italian background, an Australian husband, two Canadian children, a dog and a cat. As well as publishing, she has worked in graphics and packaging, fabric design and cartooning. Illustration is her first love, including fashion illustration and especially pictures for children. She uses brilliant saturated colours in her pictures, and often depicts richly patterned textiles. A sense of humour is nearly always an ingredient, too.
