Biography

Heather lives and works on an organic farm on Quadra Island. British Columbia. Quite a few of her books are set on the Coast of BC, including the picture books "Skookum Sam, Spar Tree Man" and "Skookum Sal, Birling Gal". One of her juvenile novels, "The Whale's Way" about a young orca whale takes place in and around Quadra. Two of her YA books are about mountains and climbing in B.C. - "Witch's Fang and her most recent "Extreme Edge".
