Biography
I love writing picture books. I grew up in a small community of 500 people. My family spent alot of time on my grandmothers farm, she was Canadian Artist, Jane Hall. Many of my ideas originated, from being a part of a big farm family.

Guest speaker/presentation information
Pat goes into a classroom with forty to eighty students and starts off with lots of ideas of his own. Then reads his story ( stories), shows how it was developed, and how the students can put their thoughts and ideas together to produce and illustrate a book. Pats enthusiastic approach leads into a workable story so that the students can enjoy the experience of it's interactive elements. Letter writing is designed to expose elementary students to the plesures of writing and also plays an exciting part of Pat's presentation.
